filmThursday 6th: Film Afternoon 1.30pm in the Lichfield room, the film The American President will be shown, starring Michael Douglas, Annette Benning, Martin Sheen and Michael J Fox lasts 1hr 49mins. Tea and sandwiches will be served, £1.50 for refreshments.
FlowersThursday 6th: Fun Floristry Flower Workshop - 7.30pm in the Hall, theme: Summer Sizzle - details from Irene Rushton (319268), £1.50.
Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July: Messy Church at the Fuse Festival - We will again be having our Messy Church craft tent at the Fuse Festival. If you can help out with the craft activities please add your name to the sign-up sheet on the wall in the Lichfield room against a time session that suits you. Thank you, Ann Richardson.
Weekend 21st - 23rd: Slum Survivor 2017 Ignite Youth Group will be sleeping rough to raise money for 4 different charities: Lichfield Foodbank, Tearfund, Pathways and Cricket Without Boundaries. Please sponsor us. We also need equipment like pallets, old wood, plastic sheets, Tarpaulin, cardboard boxes. If you could lend or donate any of these items, please speak to Anthony or Elena Shackleford.
Announcements
Sunday Club - Summer Sundays: - Age range 3 to 11yrs. Summer Sundays take place on the 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, August. We need one leader and two helpers to volunteer for each Sunday. Please add your name to the sign-up sheet on the wall in the Lichfield room. If you are choosing to lead a session please tick the appropriate box to say if you are planning your own session or you wish your session planned for you. Ann Richardson.
Readings and Prayers: - Please check the lists in the Lichfield Room if you would like to continue contributing to Services or to join the new rota. Contact Paul Rendle.
Pastoral Lists: - 1 in the church porch - 1 by the piano in the Lichfield room - and check if you are included - please put your name on if you wish to have a pastoral elder - or let Andrew Rushton know. We are trying to be as up to date as possible.
Jigsaw Puzzles: - Do you have any 500 piece, max, jigsaw puzzles with no pieces missing tucked away somewhere that you no longer want, if so they can be put to good use at Swinfen Prison. Please talk to Terry Bath for further information and to donate.
