filmThursday 25th: Film Afternoon 1.30pm in the Lichfield room, the film The Post will be shown. starring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks- it lasts 1hr 51 mins. Tea and sandwiches will be served, £1.50 for refreshments.
FlowersThursday 1st November: Fun Floristry Flower Workshop - 7.30pm in the Hall, theme: Get ready for Christmas - details from Irene Rushton (319268).
Sunday 4th November: Jazz Service - at 11.00am, following many requests after the Blues & Jazz Festival Service earlier in the year, we will be holding another, with special music and some guests musicians. An opportunity to invite your friends along to church!
Announcements
Transport Help required: Two Lichfield ladies have started to come to the early morning Sunday service. So far Roger has picked them up and taken them home after coffee. We are away the next 3 Sundays so looking for volunteers for the 21st, 28th Oct and 4th Nov and perhaps help in the future. If you can help please contact us to obtain details.
Andrew Potter: the latest prayer letter is available in the church porch.
Operation Christmas Child: If you would like to fill a box with gifts for a needy child and share the good news of Jesus this Christmas, please collect an empty box from the front of church asap. Each box has instructions inside on how to fill it and also suggests a donation of £5.00 to cover essential costs. Boxes need to be returned to church by 4th November at the latest. Lichfield Foodbank: Thank you for your continuing support. Our latest needs are jars of pasta source, tins of fruit, tins of custard and 500g bags of sugar. If you are able to donate any of these please put them in the box in the Johnson room. Alan Weaver.

Gift Aid: - Gift Aid is a government based scheme whereby a charity eg our church, can claim back the tax on gifts which individuals donate. In order to use gift aid you must be a UK tax payer, must pay at least as much tax as we claim back in gift aid, this is 25% of your gift, and your gift must be traceable ie your gift must come through cheque, standing order or envelope scheme. Should you wish to gift aid to the church please collect a form from the office, fill it in and return it to the office. Contact: Alan Weaver.
