Future Events
Monday 25th: Mental Health Workshop - 8.00pm in the Sanctuary, presented by Vivien Grant with James Cresswell and Genny Cannan, to raise our awareness of mental health issues that might affect us or our friends and family. Be mindful of your own emotional wellbeing when considering attending this session.
Thursday 28th: Evangelism made slightly less difficult - 1.00pm and 7.00pm in the Lichfield Room, we're looking as a church at developing our ability to share the gospel more effectively. There will be two 2 hour sessions covering the same agenda. Contact Doug Neil for more details (07737 466017).
Wednesday 4th July: Lichfield Christian Schools Work Trust AGM - 6.00pm at St Chad's Church. The Trust is an ecumenical initiative seeking to serve our local schools with projects reflecting our Christian commitments and values. All are welcome.
filmThursday 5th: Film Afternoon 1.30pm in the Lichfield room, the film Wings of Eagles will be shown, starring Joseph Fiennes, Elizabeth Arends, Bruce Locke and Shawn Dou - lasts 1hr 32mins. Tea and sandwiches will be served, £1.50 for refreshments.

Saturday 7th July: Pastoral Training Day: in the Lichfield Room. Details in Vision. There is a list in the office to sign. The course is funded but we need to know numbers. More info from Andrew Rushton or Kate Arden-White.
Saturday 14th - Sunday 15th July: Messy Church at Fuse Festival - if you would be able to help with children's craft activities at the Fuse festival, on Saturday between 12 noon 5.15pm and Sunday 11.45am 4.15pm - please contact Ann Richardson.
Sunday 15th July: Afternoon tea at John Higginbotham's - instead of a BBQ. If you would like to help with this please contact the church office.
Announcements
Update on Trainee Youth Worker: Adele Jones, our trainee Youth Worker, will finish here on Sunday 12th August. She and Rob, who has also been actively involved in helping with the youth work, are moving to Bedford where Adele starts a new job in September as a Schools Youth Worker. We would like to thank them both for their work here. Please pray for them as they embark on their new adventure.
Summer Holiday Club: 14th to 17th August volunteers are still needed for this year's holiday club from 9.00am to 1.00pm, also those who would be able to prepare drinks and snacks for the children and volunteers. If you can help in any way please contact Ann Richardson.
Summer Sundays: 5th, 12th, 19th, & 26th August this is when our Sunday club leaders take a break and we ask for other volunteers to help with these sessions, age range 3 to 11yrs. If you can help on any of the dates please contact Ann Richardson.
Baseball Camp: We are now taking bookings for baseball camp. For full details please contact baseball@wadestreetchurch.com or speak to Lainey Neil.
