Gill Beebee: - thanks everyone for their prayers, cards and messages following her recent accident. All is going well and she hopes to be out walking freely soon.

Monday 8th Walk in her shoes Challenge: to Sunday 14th - Penny Pick and Anne Badcock will be walking 10,000 steps everyday for the week to raise money to provide easily accessible water and sanitation in the world's poorest countries. filmThursday 11th: Film Afternoon 1.30pm in the Lichfield room, the film A United Kingdom will be shown, starring David Oyelowo & Rosamund Pike lasts 1hr 46mins. Tea and sandwiches will be served, £1.50 for refreshments.
Friday 12th Sponsored event to raise money for Kendall and Wall: Rick Hill is taking part in this sponsored event, for a new minibus providing outings for the elderly and disabled. I have decided to see how far I can swim in an hour at Friary Grange Leisure centre - I hope to do about 120 lengths. I have a sponsorship form or you can donate on line at: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/giveanhourofyourtime.
Friday 19th Men's Night: 7.30pm - Wade Street Special 'All you can eat' at Sing Tong, formerly Green T, Chinese & Thai Restaurant, Bird Street, £15.95 per head. Reserve your place by speaking to Adam or Paul, or by emailing acharters@hotmail.co.uk.
Saturday 20th Beatus Concert of Choral Music: 7.30pm - A Spring Evening of Music that includes a refreshments and canapes - Tickets £7.50 which are available from the church office or at the door. Proceeds to Wade Street Church Outreach Fund.
Monday 29th Bower Day: 7.00pm - Once again this year Churches Together in Lichfield will have a stand in Beacon Park. If you could help with children's activities any time between 12.30pm and 4.00pm, please speak to Ann Richardson.

Late Night Listeners: - Collectors wanted for Late our float at The Lichfield Bower, we get a share of the collection if we have 6 collectors. Contact Rick Hill on (411543).
Take a Break/Places of Welcome: - We only have 2 soupmakers - if you can come once per month and make soup on the premises, please speak to Andrew Rushton.
Word for Today: - The latest booklets for May/June/July is now available. They can be found on the piano in The Lichfield Room and in the porch. Any donations gratefully received.
