Children’s Work Focus Group: - Sunday 8th April, 9.00am in the Lichfield room - to look at what is going on, pray for the children's work. To take part in the group that supports and encourages this work, please speak to Ian Hayter or Ann Richardson.
Drop in for Andrew Rushton - 60: - Saturday 15th April, 12.00noon to 2.30pm in the Lichfield Room - all welcome to pop in for a hot dog followed by cake to wish Andrew a happy 60th birthday. Lichfield Foodbank: - Thank you for your continuing support for the Foodbank. We are currently in need of Tinned Fruit, Tinned Cold Meats - corned beef, spam, ham types, and 500g Sugar. Please support us.
Late Night Listeners: - Collectors wanted for Late our float at The Lichfield Bower, we get a share of the collection if we have 6 collectors. Contact Rick Hill on (411543).
Take a Break/Places of Welcome: - We only have 2 soupmakers - if you can come once per month and make soup on the premises, please speak to Andrew Rushton.
Tear Fund - East Africa Crisis Appeal: - as part of DEC. The tearfund box will be out on Sunday 26th March for your gifts for this emergency appeal. 16 million people are in urgent need of food and safe water. Please give generously.
Talking about depression - A Short Course: - 5 daytime sessions in the the upper youth room at Wade St. Church, 1 per week, 12noon to 2.30pm - 26th April & 3,10,17 and 24th May. Details available in April's 'Vision'. If you are interested, please talk to either Andrew Rushton or Kate Arden- White.
Flower Rota: - this is now on the Rota board in The Johnson Room. If you were on it last year please check your dates. If you no longer wish to be on the rota please cross out your name. Any queries phone Irene (319268).
Safeguarding Training: - If you work with children/young people/vulnerable adults on behalf of the church and you have or are in the process of applying for a DBS check then in order to comply with best practice it is very important that you attend one of two training sessions on the latest safeguarding procedures in the Lichfield room on Saturdays 13th and 20th May. The trainer needs numbers so please sign up to one of these two sessions on the attendance lists in the church office by the end of March.
